In 1985, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) created the Formula 3000 International Championship (initially entitled the European Formula 3000 Championship) to become the final preparatory step for drivers hoping to enter the Formula One championship.

The Formula 3000 cars are named after their powerfull 3000cc engine which delivers almost 500bhp with a stunning 9000-limited rpm. This massive amount of power means you will have your hands full at all times, especially coming out of slower corners where a heavy foot on the accelerator will light up the rear tyres in an instant. Swedish Formula 3000 driver Alx Danielsson, has been heavily involved in the development of this car and we believe you will be as exited by it as he is.

Successful drivers in the past Formula 3000 seasons are amongst others; Vitantonio Liuzzi, Robert Doornbos, Sébastien Bourdais, Justin Wilson, Nick Heidfeld, Juan Pablo Montoya, Olivier Panis, Luca Badoer, Jean Alesi, Tomas Enge and Bruno Junqueira.
