Brands Hatch is located in Kent, England,
and has been home to British motor sports since 1926. It
was originally a motorcycle dirt track until it was
surfaced in 1949 and pressed into use as a car track.
It's now considered a true classic on the calendar,
comparable in heritage and history with tracks like Monza.
The circuit is set in a natural amphitheatre so viewing
is excellent, with most of the track visible from any of
the grandstands. The track is known as a real drivers
track which demands the most from racers in all forms of
motosport. Off-camber turns and braking zones that are
anything but flat makes it an exiting ride. The WTCC
cars realy shine here, with their uncompromising
handling abilities and sheer speed they will provide a
real rollercoaster ride to anyone trying to go fast.
Constantly updated and upgraded, Brands
Hatch is now host to some of the best car and motorcycle
races in the world and there is even talk of a Formula 1
comeback if proposed circuit changes come to fruition.
This rollercoaster circuit guarantees plenty of
controversial events.

“When Andy
(Priaulx)
went wide I
knew I had
to stay
focused and
finish. This
year our aim
was a race
win and now
we have done
it! I have
won many
races here
at Brands
Hatch but I
have to say
that was the
best ever”

“The
first
race
was
a
really
tough
one
and
it
felt
great.
It
was
difficult
because
I
was
fighting
with
team-mates
and
at
this
circuit
it’s
hard
to
overtake
because
of
the
style
of
the
track
and
the
conditions.
I
caught
Yvan
but
not
enough
to
overtake
because
it
would
have
been
too
risky.
As
for
the
second
race,
I
selected
the
wrong
tyres.”

“In
the
second
race
my
wipers
stopped
and
I
had
to
look
out
of
my
side
window
to
see
where
I
was
going!”
